Paddy,

Are all those spares in case he breaks a string during a hot solo?

I'd love to see the fret press cauls for that one

Wow. That's an insane, insane instrument. But a very beautiful one. Is that a custom-made ETS bridge? Looks quite a lot like their hardware, and I'm pretty sure they do custom stuff.

I have no clue who built it, though.

Ah...that's not fair!!!!!!!! I didn't get here quick enough Not only did I know it's JP's work, but every bit of that wood is mine. JP is an old great client and becoming very creative. He's got a couple new secret projects I'm working on that'll make this look "normal". Jean Baudin is an amazing ERB player

Just noticed the blued dyed maple burl bass...that's all my wood, too including the dye process where I dye a whole uncut timber, then mill it bookmatched Larry Davis38846.5844675926

That twelve certainly is crazy Paddy . Actually I came across a twelve string bass site whilst searching for 12's www.12stringbass.com. It appears there are a number of guys building them.

If you think that's crazy , check this out

Cheers KiwiCraig
